The boys who inspired it all.
62 West started with two boys who hated wearing polo shirts.
When they were young, I was trying to find something my sons could wear to Sunday School, dinner out, or family gatherings — but every “dressy” shirt we bought ended up stiff, scratchy, or uncomfortable. The minute they got home, they changed back into their favorite t-shirts.
So I started wondering:
Why couldn’t a polo feel just as soft and comfortable as the clothes kids actually want to live in?
When we realized that shirt didn’t really exist, we decided to make it ourselves.
That idea became 62 West — a boys’ clothing brand built around one simple belief: kids shouldn’t have to choose between comfort and looking put together.
Today, we partner with ethical manufacturers in the USA who share our commitment to quality craftsmanship, fair working conditions, and thoughtful production.
Our polos are made with incredibly soft TENCEL™ Modal fibers that are breathable, durable, and gentle on sensitive skin — designed for school days, special occasions, and everything in between.
In a world of fast fashion, we’re proud to make clothing that’s softer, longer-lasting, and made with care for the families who wear it.
